"DO YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER? VICTORY IS AT HAND!"
You are probably thinking, "What? She must be crazy to ask me if I hear the sound of laughter!"
Yes dear one, this has been a time of tremendous, relentless, spiritual battle...a time of desperation and tears, which has brought with it discouragement, weariness, confusion and fear (just to name a few aspects of this onslaught).
But I have to tell you this: God is laughing!
Psalm 2 is very enlightening and encouraging in times like these when demonic and/or human threats abound! Psalm 2:1-5 says:
"Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
'Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.'
He who sits in the Heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure..."
The great news in verse 6 is this:
"Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion."
God is in charge and He is disarming your enemy! Now is the time that God is exposing, interrupting and apprehending.
We are just crossing over a timeline of the Hebrew year of 5767, "The year of the sword" and are entering 5768, "The year of the full circle of life." This crossing over time is an extremely pivotal season for which we must recognize what is happening on a spiritual level and be in agreement with God.
Prophet Kim Clement and many other reliable prophetic voices are clearly declaring that we are in a time of increase, multiplication and acceleration as never before. In order to go forward, it is necessary to remove whatever is holding you captive at your present level. To facilitate the needed shift, a few things must happen (which are currently occurring).
Some things must be exposed. In other words, hidden things which are at work or are present, contrary to God's will--must be revealed so they can be removed out of your way!
The Lord is releasing a manifestation of greater light and clearer sight! He is disarming the spirit of darkness that enables unrighteousness to hide. This will cause us to see and to possibly experience some alarming things, but we must see them in order to move to the next necessary step--to interrupt those things that are not profitable or are contrary to God's will.
Once sight comes, God will reveal wisdom and strategies for interrupting or stopping the darkness that has been at work. As hidden obstacles, unrighteous structures or dark activities are being exposed and wisdom is implemented to stop or interrupt them, then the enemy must be apprehended or captured so the same darkness cannot go elsewhere and reestablish unrighteous acts again.
In the instance of terrorism, not only must the terrorist acts be thwarted, there must be an interruption and a capturing, or else the terrorists will simply go somewhere else and do it again. The same is true in the political arena, as well as all other areas of life. The Lord wants to expose, interrupt and apprehend unrighteousness so that multiplication, acceleration and favor can abound!
In verse 10 of Psalm 2, the Lord declares a mandate to all (especially to those who carry authority):
"Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth."
Verse 11 gives us holy instruction:
"Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling."
Verse 12 tells us that activity outside of intimacy with Him actually angers Him. We can also glean from this passage that those who perish in the way are on a "way" that is not being intimate with Him (you have to be quite close to someone to kiss them).
"Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little."
Lastly, we have this promise at the end of verse 12:
"Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him."
In this hour in which the Lord is disarming the powers of darkness and unveiling acts of unrighteousness, you can be blessed by choosing to PUT your trust in Him--don't let the enemy drive you into putting it anywhere else. Let us agree with God's plan to disarm the spirit of darkness, to interrupt the enemy's plans and to capture and bind that which is set against us at all levels.
Let us put our trust in the Lord and stay close enough to kiss Him! God is laughing, and while He laughs, let's put our trust in Him. The devil is not winning the battle that is set against you, and actually, victory is at hand.
